MEET THE TEAM

Dr. Nepper enjoys educating people and raising awareness of the incidence of hearing loss in patients with diabetes and cardiovascular disease, as well as those having risk factors such as aging and vocational exposure to noise. She also seeks to help professionals understand the importance of including an annual hearing test for preventative care.

Dr. Nepper and her husband have a son, two daughters and a Shih Tzu named Coco. She enjoys anything in the arts such as photography and painting, as well as reading and traveling.

Ms. Melik-Israyelyan received her Hearing Aid Specialist certification and license from Des Moines Area Community College and continued her training at Iowa Hearing Clinic and the ENT Clinic at Covenant Hospitals and Clinics in Waterloo. She is a member of the Iowa Hearing Association and is also a current board member as of 2019.

Ms. Melik-Israyelyan is an advocate on awareness of the importance of hearing protection, the significance of correcting hearing loss, and the positive impact it will have on patients and their quality of life.  She enjoys helping her patients find the right selection, fit and programming of hearing aids. Serving her community and meeting new patients is one of her favorite parts of her position.

Outside of patient care, Ms. Melik-Israyelyan enjoys time with her son, listening to music, art and traveling.

Dr. Mollenhoff received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communicative Disorders from Iowa State University in 1993. She received a Master of Science in Audiology from Central Missouri State and achieved her Doctorate of Audiology degree from the A.T. Still School of Health Sciences in 2013.

Dr. Mollenhoff is an expert in the assessment and management of hearing and balance disorders. She administers hearing examinations, hearing aid examinations and hearing aid fittings utilizing calibrated audiometry, tympanometry and real ear measurements. Dr. Mollenhoff’s patients benefit from her expertise and years of experience as a hearing healthcare provider. She is an advocate for early identification and treatment of hearing loss. Dr. Mollenhoff is a member of the national organization of audiologists and speech pathologist, ASHA, and a long time member and board chair of the Iowa Hearing Association. Dr. Mollenhoff looks forward to serving patients in the Cedar Falls and Marshalltown communities. 

Outside of work, you might find Dr. Mollenhoff on the golf course with her daughter or on a bike trail with her sister. At home, Dr. Mollenhoff is usually in the garden, walking with her dog, Rico, or working on a home project. She enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.
